Hi, I'm Kayla! I’m a documentary-style photographer based in Denver, Colorado. Photography is my passion; it brings me joy to capture life's special moments – whether that be a wedding, a proposal, or a branding session for a new business. I just love it!
As your photographer, I want to be your ultimate hype woman, cheering you on from behind the camera. My goal is to ensure that you feel completely comfortable and confident, so that your genuine personality shines through in every photo. Whether we’re capturing the laughter of a shared moment, the joy of celebration, or the quiet beauty of reflection, I’ll be there, camera in hand and heart full of encouragement!

I’m inspired by celebrations that are meaningful, untraditional, deeply personal, and rooted in intention. If you’re looking for overly posed photos or a rigid shot list, I might not be the right fit – and that’s okay. But if you’re drawn to imagery shaped by connection, movement, creativity, and trust, then we may already be a perfect match! Every couple is different, and for that reason, I love to approach each wedding with fresh eyes, thoughtful attention, and a genuine desire to honor YOUR story.
Whether your celebration is tucked in the mountains or across the country, my goal is to create photographs that feel deeply true to you – beautiful and timeless in the way that matters most! Photos that will be cherished for generations – ones you’ll share with loved ones and say, “This is when we got married.”
Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my best friend (aka my husband), my family, and my sweet friends! I love embracing slow, quiet, cozy moments that come from the morning. I love getting lost in a good book or movie, I love traveling to new places, and I love having thoughtful conversations. I love snowboarding in the winter, and playing volleyball or pickleball when it's warm. All my close friends and family know that I choose chai over coffee at any coffee shop. Every little thing I do and enjoy in my life sparks my creativity in its own way.
I aim to capture moments as they naturally unfold, finding beauty in the subtle gestures, quiet glances, and unscripted emotions that make your story unique. Every wedding, every couple, and every celebration has its own rhythm, its own story to tell, and my role is to honor that rhythm while weaving it into a cohesive, timeless story.
